NFTs: updates & top collections - Stocks Telegraph

The NFT segment is one of the most profitable ones in the cryptocurrency market – especially in times of market bearishness. The segment is also always buzzing with interesting developments. The hype surrounding NFTs has led various conventional gaming firms adopting the technology. For example, GameStop and Ubisoft. Moreover, experts also believe that the convergence between NFTs and traditional gaming will further boost in the future.

The absurdity of the NFT segment contributed to its hype too. Recently, a conceptual artist SHL0MS blew up a 2-15 Lamborghini Huracan and recorded it on tape. The video will be turned into 999 NFTs.

There have also been plenty of developments being seen on the accessibility front. An NFT marketplace on Solana called Neon allows users to buy NFTs through its vending machines in New York City. The vending machines work through credit cards with no requirement for cryptocurrencies.

      NFTs to watch

Investing in an NFT collection is one of the sure-shot ways to ensure positive gains on your crypto portfolio. Moreover, NFT investment may also be relatively less risky if you play smart and go for a reputable project. Here are some of the top collections to look into:

Bored Ape Yacht Club is one of the most popular non-fungible token collections. Any day of the week and the collection is guaranteed to be trending in terms of volume – which makes it a really good bet. The BAYC is also famous with celebrities like Justin Bieber and Gwyneth Paltrow which makes them even more prized.

The Sandbox is another veteran popular non-fungible token collection and an interesting development may help it gain a place in the top ten NFT collections in terms of trading volume, once again. Snoop Dogg – the popular artist – has released 10,000 playable avatar NFTs for Sandbox. This is the first release of Snoop Dogg and many more can be expected.

Howlerz is a new NFT collection that has gained a place in the top ten largest collections on OpenSea amidst increased interest and hype around it. The drop of the collection was regarded to be a big disaster for the team but the collection still managed to get sold out in minutes. Howlerz is a collection of 5,000 hand-drawn wolf-themed NFTs.

WonderPals is another recent launch and also one of the cutest NFT collections of 2022. The collection consists of 10,000 NFTs that are adorable bear-like creatures. The collection is created by artist Mina. The project is also holding a giveaway currently which is resulting in further hype around the collection

The final hyped-up non-fungible token collection in our list is Invisible Friends which is essentially a collection of 5,000 invisible creatures which are considered to be hidden in the metaverse. Invisible Friends is currently the top-ranking project in terms of trading volume. The collection’s volume has surged by more than 90% during the past week.
