Here’s to why Nutriband Inc. (NTRB) stock surges during current market? - Stocks Telegraph

Nutriband Inc. (NASDAQ: NTRB) stock gains by 39.18% during the current market trading session. Nutriband is largely focused on the development of a transdermal medicinal product range. The first product is a fentanyl abuse deterrent patch that incorporates their AVERSA technology.

      NTRB stock’ Current Development

Nutriband has struck an exclusive manufacturing deal with San Diego-based Diomics for their Diocheck technology, which is a simple approach for people to track the prevalence of antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) antibodies over time.

The Diocheck patch’s purpose is to track how long it takes for a person to develop a protective level of antibodies after receiving a COVID-19 vaccination, which according to current studies might take several weeks. It might also indicate that a person’s antibody response to vaccination has waned and that a booster is required.

Diocheck identifies and indicates whether a person has generated a circulating level of COVID-19 specific antibodies within 24 to 36 hours using Diomics’ exclusive use of an FDA-approved substance, Diomat bioresorbable polymer. A good reaction results in a change in skin colour that may be seen through the Diocheck skin patch, which looks like a nicotine patch and can last up to 14 days. The Diocheck gadget has been submitted to the FDA for approval.

      Furthermore,

The Diocheck Transdermal Test is solely meant to be used as a monitoring tool for SARS-CoV-2 infections and vaccination effectiveness. The user wears the patch for 24 hours on the inside of each forearm, then takes it off and examines that region of the skin for the next 24-36 hours. If the person has not been vaccinated and has a good skin reaction in the form of induration and/or erythema, they should require medical help for further testing to ensure a probable SARS-CoV-2 infection. If the person has been vaccinated but does not have a positive reaction in the form of a minor induration and/or erythema on the skin, they should contact a medical expert for further testing to confirm the vaccine’s effectiveness.
